Rationale for Conference
We believe the coming months are critical to the progress of the APEC-ICT agenda in the lead up to the United States’ Ministerial in 2011 because:
(1) the world economy is at an inflection point during which critical ICT policy choices will be made by APEC economies,
(2) more innovative and sophisticated ICT policy can be developed at this time if important voices, such as yours, are taken into account.
At table, approximately 35 invited participants from business, government, and academia will discuss obstacles and opportunities toward building more sophisticated and innovative APEC-ICT policies.
